If you are planning a visit to The Community Orchard here are some pointers of other great things to look out for nearby.

The Ice Cream Parlour is a must for a family day out in Reeth. Visit Sarah and her team for Tea coffee and of course delicious Brymor Ice cream in lots of different flavours. The parlour is just opposite the Orchard gates.

Within the Orchard you can access The Hudson House Gallery housed in the Conservatory. This has a variety of Art and Sculpture Exhibitions on throughout the year. Hudson house (joined to the gallery and Orchard ) also has tourist information, a Library and a small shop for visitors to look around. You can ask in here for suggested local walks to take in the stunning Reeth scenery.

The Community Orchard is a 2-minute walk from one of the most scenic playgrounds in Yorkshire where children can play safely and adults take in the stunning views to the river Swale and the Swale trail cycling path.

On the other side of the village the small but very informative Swaledale Museum has a large display or artefacts relating to the History of Reeth and its lead mining past.

Reeth is only 3.6 miles from Hazel Brow Farm where all people big and small can feed animals and walk around stunning meadows.

Reeth also boasts a variety of small shops galleries, pubs and cafes to suit a variety of tastes giving a great day out in this beautiful part of Swaledale.
